Exciting News! We have been granted official approval to launch the first French-speaking RHEMA Bible Training Colleges in Africa!
We are now moving full speed ahead to prepare these launches for this Fall in the cities of Kinshasa, (DRC) and Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.
On Saturday March 20, 2021, team180 will be flying to Africa to continue these preparations in the Congo. We will also be making a follow-up visit with denominational leaders in Cotonou, Benin West Africa to discuss possibilities of a training center in that nation as well.

With a population of over 91 million, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) is the largest French-speaking country in the world! It’s captital, Kinshasa, is the largest French-speaking city in the world with over 14.5 million inhabitants.
In July of 2019, 800 Congolese pastors gathered in Kinshasa for 4 days of ministerial training. They have been anxiously waiting the official launch of RHEMA Bible Training Center ever since!
We have also been granted authorization to launch a RHEMA Bible Training Center campus in Brazzaville. This is the capital city of the Republic of the Congo, the neighbouring country across the Congo river just north of Kinshasa, (DRC).
Slave Traders, Voodoo & the GOSPEL OF CHRIST
Cotonou, Benin - West Africa
From March 21-26, we will be in Cotonou, Benin. This will be our fourth time in this strategic West African nation where we have been meeting with denominational leaders who are very motivated to see a ministry training center established in their country!
The Door of No Return is a monument to the terrible chapter in Benin’s history when African kings sold Africans from other tribes to European slave traders. It was at this very spot that these future slaves would be taken by dug-out canoes to the awaiting slave ships. Once past this point, there was no going back...Thus, the door of “No Return”.
On our last trip, we visited the Door of No Return (see caption above) with an influential pastor who is the descendant of one of the kings responsible for selling their prisoners of war to European slave traders.
He told us, “Our nation has been a nation of exportation. We exported slavery and we exported Voodoo. Now, if RHEMA [Bible Training College] comes to Benin, we will be able to export the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
This group of denominational leaders that we’ve been meeting with over the last few years oversee more than 8,000 churches in Benin and are hoping to see a Bible school established in their nation. They have shared with us on multiple occasions how hungry their pastors and leaders are for practical ministerial training.
