VIDEO REPORT - PREPARING TO LAUNCH RHEMA IN FRENCH-SPEAKING AFRICA
You’re about to help launch the first French-speaking RHEMA Bible Training College campuses on the African continent!
TRIP HIGHLIGHTS FROM KINSHASA, RD CONGO
We recently received approval to launch RHEMA Bible Training College campuses in Kinshasa, DR Congo as well as Brazzaville in the Republic of Congo. In March we headed to the Congo to continue preparations for the Fall 2021 launch.
We signed leases on two apartments in the Congo where Team180 (Taylors, Josephs) will be living and hosting visiting teaching staff.
We reconnected with hundreds of Congolese pastors who are excited to see RHEMA launch in their nation.
We secured a classroom venue capable of receiving 500-600 students for the opening of the RHEMA Kinshasa campus.
We secured private office space for RHEMA next door to the classroom venue.
We began training administrative and other key team members in the nation.
We filed papers so that RHEMA Kinshasa may now operate as an official Congolese non-profit organization.
Launch date is set for September 2021.
Note: On our way to the Congo, we first spent four days in Cotonou, Benin - West Africa to continue preparations for a possible launch in that nation as well. Check out the video for more details on what the Lord is doing in these nations.
