Ken & Tonja Taylor - Nations180 founders
In full-time ministry since 1987, Ken and Tonja Taylor have a God-given mandate to help impact the nations of the French-speaking world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since 1992 they have lived as missionaries in France and French-Canada and have worked extensively in Haiti and Africa. They currently reside in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
In 1989, the Lord supernaturally spoke to the Taylors and instructed them to begin praying for the French-speaking people of Québec Canada. They had never been to Québec and were unaware that only 6/10 of 1% of the population were Evangelical Christians. As began to pray, they heard in their hearts a call to, “Go to Quebec, establish a base, and from there you will be able to reach the nations of the French-speaking world. (34 countries and 11 territories are French-speaking.)
After living and ministering for two years in the south of France, they moved to Drummondville, Quebec Canada where they served for over two decades as senior pastors of a growing congregation in the heart of Québec. During that period they also founded four French-speaking RHEMA Bible Training College campuses – three in Québec and one in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and collaborated with their colleagues in the launches of RHEMA campuses in Switzerland and France.
On September 20, 2021, the first French-speaking RHEMA campus in Africa was launched with 314 students in Kinshasa, the capital city of the DR Congo. They also currently oversee an international task force whose goal is to expand RHEMA’s influence into every nation of the French-speaking world.
Ken and Tonja are both natives of Missouri. They have been happily married since 1985 and the proud parents and grandparents of five children and two grand-daughters, The Taylors have served the Lord together in ministry for over 30 years. They are graduates of RHEMA Bible Training Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
