It’s already been one year since we officially established a residence in the DR Congo and we are thrilled to be living in Kinshasa, the largest French-speaking city in the world. There is a deep sense of divine destiny as we continue to walk out God’s plans and purposes for which we’ve been praying and preparing since the 1980’s.  

Though we will be making regular ministry and fundraising trips back to to North America and Europe, the bulk of our time is now being devoted to our expansion efforts here in French-speaking Africa.  We also continue leading an international expansion team with a long-term goal of establishing training centers throughout the 34 nations and 11 territories of the French-speaking world.

To be sure, we miss being close to our children and grandchildren in Quebec.  We are grateful, however, that we’ll still be able to carve out quality time to stay connected with them during our trips back to North America. 

FIVE YEAR MISSIONARY VISAS FOR THE CONGO

Since we have already completed two six month visas and have established an official residence in Kinshasa,  Tonja and I, along with team180 members Andy and Ruth Joseph, are now eligible for 5 year missionary visas for the RD Congo.  The paperwork has been submitted and we’re looking forward to sharing the good news with you once these visas are granted.

Thanks to you, they are not only learning the spiritual truths of God’s Word concerning faith, redemptive realities, their authority and identity in Christ, divine healing, gifts of the Spirit etc.,  they are also taking hold of the practical application of these truths in their marriages, families, churches, businesses and ministries.  No words can express the enthusiasm of these future nation changers!  Thank you for making this possible!

RHEMA Haiti Alumni Continue to Make a Difference

Since 2012, you’ve helped train nearly 800 leaders and workers through the ministry of RHEMA Haiti. We currently have over 290 new students whose applications have been processed and who will begin their ministerial training in the Fall of 2022.

In the meantime, as the country still deals with violent kidnappings and civil unrest, many of our graduates continue earthquake relief efforts. After distributing thousands of hot meals and hundreds of relief kits, work has been moving forward to rebuild church facilities belonging to congregations pastored by alumni. Please keep the precious people of Haiti in your prayers and agree with us for peace to be restored to this nation.

Thanks to the efforts of our alumni, the steel roof is going on to this church, pastored by a RHEMA Haiti graduate, which has been rebuilt from the ground up following its total destruction during the earthquake.
