You’ve trained thousands who are destined to reach millions: Let’s train more!

Most of these students in the Congo (DRC) serve as pastors or associate pastors. All are leaders in their local churches, collectively representing tens of thousands of Congolese. By 2050, there will be 750 million French speakers, predominantly multilingual Africans. French serves as a unifying medium to raise leaders across multiple continents from diverse language groups, empowering them to transmit the Word in French and/or indigenous vernaculars, reaching countless more people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Will you help train more nation changers like these?

Year-end Goal: Congo Bible School

Nations180 trains hundreds of church leaders yearly at the Bible College in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the world’s largest French-speaking country. These leaders impact tens of thousands in the DRC and beyond. Student fees cover a fraction of the actual cost for their training. The generous support of our partners allows us to keep tuition low and train more laborers for the harvest!

100K year-end goal represents:

$55,000 - Bible School “tuition-aid” and operations.
13%
$45,000 - Reliable Toyota 4X4 capable of handling Congolese road conditions. (Includes shipping container and customs fees to the DRC.)

  Summer 2024 Highlights

Reflecting on what the Lord has done over the last few months, I remember the Apostle John writing, “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written...” John 21:25. Our Lord Jesus is still doing great things, including what He accomplished through your partnership with nations180 over the summer.  It would take volumes to report the full impact. To Him be all the glory!

CONGO (DRC) :

A new intake of Congolese students began ministerial training in September. The testimonies are humbling.  A pastor/theologian with 25 years of experience shared, “Yesterday, when we started the courses, I was blown away, absolutely amazed.  I told myself, ‘the 25 years of ministry don’t count anymore’, I have so much more to learn… I’m speechless!”  The quality of training your partnership is providing cannot be overstated!

In July, the second graduating class of the Bible school in Kinshasa, Congo (DRC) celebrated their commencement with over 2,000 in attendance, including officials from the President’s cabinet and the Congolese Ministry of Higher Education.

FRANCE: Strategic expansion team meetings

In early September, our international expansion team met in Paris to seek God, pray and plan strategic next steps to train more leaders for the 34 nations, 11 territories of the French-speaking world. We’ll soon share the results of this powerful time in the Spirit during which the team received important direction to reach further, wider and deeper into these nations.  There’s a fresh wave of the Spirit and the best is yet to come!

Ken & Tonja Taylor were honored to minister at the Bible school campus in Paris, the first week of September, to a powerful group of students from all over the French-speaking world, including New Caledonia, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Congo. (DRC), Guadeloupe, Central African Republic to name a few.

HAITI

The Bible school in Haiti continues training at three locations.  In the face of continuing chaos in the nation, leaders of excellence are being raised up in the power of the Word and the Spirit. Inspiring testimonies of grateful students continue to pour in.

QUEBEC, CANADA

The church we pastored for 23 years in Quebec is healthy and growing under the leadership of our successors as is the Bible school which held graduation ceremonies on June 10.  Both are reaching increasing numbers the international diaspora communities, especially from the many French-speaking African nations.

There are only 6/10 of 1% Evangelical Christians in the the French-speaking province of Quebec, Canada making it one of the least evangelized parts of the Western hemisphere. On June 8, the Quebec Bible school celebrated its 13th graduation.  These men and women are making a difference!
